SWS Broadband recently sponsored Shropshire Council's leadership conference, held at Shrewsbury's Theatre Severn. Leaders from across the region gathered to experience a mix of thought-provoking speakers and insightful workshops as well as networking opportunities.

One of the three high-profile and influential keynote speakers, which also included Sir Clive Woodward OBE and Richard Nugent was Debra Searle MBE. A professional adventurer and serial entrepreneur, her expeditions have taken Debra across the Atlantic, around Antarctica, up to the Arctic Circle and everywhere in between.  She has also launched five companies, is a published author and has presented for the BBC. A movie of Debra’s story; when she rowed solo across the Atlantic after her husband was rescued; is currently under development in Hollywood. Debra has been voted the world’s number one female keynote speaker.
